You will advise on and manage a variety of privacy legal issues at one of the fastest growing startups in history. 주요 업무 (What You'll Do)

시니어 카운셀러로서의 업무에 대해서 언급하고 있습니다.

What You'll Do

• Provide legal guidance to internal teams on privacy matters that affect the company, with an eye towards how it impacts the company globally
• Review products, programs, agreements and initiatives to advise on privacy/data security, consumer protection and content/media laws and regulations
• Counsel business partners on domestic and international data privacy and security laws, regulations, and industry best practices, particularly related to software and cloud services
• Act as subject matter expert and resource on issues related to privacy, security and data protection
• Respond to privacy and security-related customer and regulatory inquiries and investigations on a global basis and draft regulatory filings
• Draft external privacy notices and disclosures
• Establish and manage internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with global laws bearing on privacy and cybersecurity
• Work effectively across business units and internal functions to resolve complex business and risk management issues
• Lead outside counsel relationships as necessary

자격 요건 (About You)

시니어 카운셀러로서의 자격 요건에 대해서 언급하고 있습니다.

About You

• JD/law degree and bar admission in at least one state
• 7+ years relevant experience
• Proven high-performing legal experience in an in-house environment
• Ability to work well under pressure with diligence, organization, and minimal supervision, and provide practical, business-friendly advice to clients
• Strong analytical and strategic skills; ability to drive issues to a quick resolution that factors in many non-legal variables, such as brand-risk, communications, government relations, tax, insurance, finance and other business units
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity
• Ability to anticipate legal issues or risks and to build the processes and systems to prevent them from occurring
